The 2-1 play for Garrett was exactly as I said. Unfortunately he gets one of those blocked every game and our bad luck continued as it ended up right in OSU’s lap.

A 3 from a guy who has only taken 11 all season was the turning point at the end.

Yes.
You let him take that shot.

Was he sending a message to Harris too? Did he even get on the floor tonight?
What message did Bill send to Wilson and Braun? They were in at the end of the game even though they were missing the first 39:57

The 19-2 run came with Wilson and Braun sitting. Wilson had to come in for Thompson. No idea why Braun was back in for the final play.

Either way, it was clear Self was sitting them intentionally.

Wilson also passed up a 3 in the final minute as well. Garrett ends up shooting it.

The key is to not get down by 16 in the first place.

OSU way too many easy buckets.

I don’t know who else you can play at the end besides Wilson and Braun.

Bryce was hurt and also was turning the ball over.
Enaruna has a few big buckets but he’s been underwhelming.
Harris can’t shoot.
Tyon GrantFoster was per Self maybe our best player and he had a spin move to the floor tonight.

The 3 losses have a common theme. Teams shooting crazy from 3. Once Self went zone with extended out wide, they had a hand in the face every time.

Maybe they need to change that up and go more zone and extend that top line way out.

TGF knows his playing time is limited so he tries to do something spectacular in the short time he's in.

Our offense has been cold...but we should mention our defense has not been stellar either. Lot of fast breaks tonight.

Hit the nail on the head. We can survive bad shooting if we play better D.

This is statisticallyone of KU's worst defensive teams under Self if I remember right.

You're not. 18 and 19 were Swiss cheese.

KU has played well in maybe 2 of their 6 Big 12 games.

Well I think we are allowing a larger than normal ppg so far.

But Gonzaga and Texas results will do that to you.

Looks like we're top 10 in KenPom D and it's not likely to take a hit after tonight considering we only gave up 75 points in what felt like 200 possessions.

We aren't consistently good at guarding the 3 pt. line, but some of those dribble and step back 3's in the first half you can do nothing about.

Yea.
We have played the 4th toughest SOS so Kenpom factors that,

Cunningham had 4 points on 5 shots in the 2nd half. Self and staff were outstanding in the adjustments.
