NBA Playoffs
Re: NBA Playoffs
Legler and Windhorst both said they voted for Embiid even though they understand metrics slightly favored Jokic.
Hopefully Embiid gets an MVP one of these years. It'll be really tough with Giannis Ja and Luka all in their primes.

Re: NBA Playoffs
So many really good players in the NBA right now.
Re: NBA Playoffs
I hate watching Luka play. Him, Harden and Young all aggravate me. All the flopping, intentional drawing of fouls and volume shooting is just ugly basketball. Just not my favorite brand of basketball. They are all great, I just don't like watching them.BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Mon May 09, 2022 9:42 am Legler and Windhorst both said they voted for Embiid even though they understand metrics slightly favored Jokic.

Re: NBA Playoffs
If Jokic took the same amount of shots (FG and FT) as Embiid, his shooting percentage averages dictate he would have scored more points than Embiid.BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Mon May 09, 2022 8:34 am Embiid won the scoring title. First Center since Shaq to do it.
Both are worthy recipients.
Just sayin'.

Re: NBA Playoffs
Nobody does more intentional drawing of fouls than Embiid. He uses the exact same tactics as those guys. He just does it better because he is huge and guys can't help but put their hands on him.twocoach wrote: ↑Mon May 09, 2022 10:01 amI hate watching Luka play. Him, Harden and Young all aggravate me. Re: NBA Playoffs
He starts talking about drawing fouls a few min into the Reddick video.
Re: NBA Playoffs
My enjoyment of Embiid's ability to do things that 7 footers shouldn't be able to do and the fact that he is a Jayhawk overcome his intentional flopping and foul drawing.
Re: NBA Playoffs
If Ja is out, that takes the air out of this series.

The officials are laughable.
Re: NBA Playoffs
Please.
Horford going to the basket.
Just doing what Giannis has done all series.

Re: NBA Playoffs
It wasn't intentional, but he failed his arm and elbowed him in the face. Seemed like a reasonable T imo.
Re: NBA Playoffs
Boston showing some serious heart in a must win game.
Isn't Al Horford like 40 years old? He's been awesome.
