If a court didn’t go along with the attempt to put Cawthorn on trial you think anyone would go along with putting Ilhan Omar on trial? Perhaps some hack unqualified Trump judge somewhere might but I’m confident that there’s still a critical mass of sane people in the Judiciary, SCOTUS notwithstanding.

To remove her from the ballot? It isn't a criminal trial. I can totally see it happening.

I understand your point and I agree with you. Ideally, she would not get re-elected after supporting a coup. I'm just saying that it won't end with her.

I believe in elections to determine leaders. The house has some nuts, that's sorta by design. It's one vote of over 400

I believe in candidates having basic qualifications of humanity and decency. I think associating MTG with the resident nuts is a huge disservice to said nuts. Unfortunately I’m not in the camp which believes that a few David Dukes or MTGs are acceptable cost of doing business for our government.
