This. There is plenty of wall space inside AFH to celebrate the brief Kansas career of Joel Embiid. He accomplished nothing ina Kansas uniform that warrants putting his jersey in the rafters. Kansas has enough famous former players that it doesn't need to do that just for publicity.

Embiid doesn't need to be up there for us to use him as a recruiting tool. Much more to the point, putting him up there would have big "spray paint a banner for NCAA appearances" energy.

Of course it is up to Bill, but I think that is a reach and Bill no longer has to get creative to get a bunch of his guys up there.
