Considering Houston has made 2 E8s in a row and has just a good a team as the two teams previous, I’ll have them in my E8.

I’ll also probably have 3 B12 teams depending on matchup. TCU would be a decent pick considering their numbers are deflated bc of injury but are getting healthy. They might play above seed.

Feels like two 1s, two 2s and then chaos.

So, a pretty common year.

I am sure 1 of them will make it. Bama looks good, but they're as likely as any to get upset early.

I also like KState to do well in the tourney because of their guards.

Illinois is another one who could be semi dangerous to pull off an upset of someone because they chuck 3s.

Give me a Cinderella that can hit the three in there like Xavier or Utah State.

Arizona and Uconn could be sleepers but I wouldn't look for either of them to go beyond the E8.

I'm dead serious: I thought Oats' judgment was disqualifyingly bad here before this. Nail in the coffin.
Why so negative?

Can't help but wonder if you missed these parts, or you wouldn't be so judgmental:

"Ray Lewis a man of faith..."

And, during the team meeting:

"...“Lot of prayer. Read them some bible verses on how to handle types of things like this. And really, we’ve kind of reiterated, like, your choices. We can learn from this, too. Don’t lose a learning lesson. Let’s learn what we can from this. Hopefully the rest of the team makes better decisions moving forward and they can really learn from this.” [...]

So, I think we can rest easy that the 'Bama kids have learned their lesson and aren't likely to be providing loaded guns to murderers again for at least a week, or two.

but, that aside, in my limited observations about other top teams, Bama and Houston both looked like they have some quick ass doods when I saw them play.

Tenn might too, but I tend to think of that game as an outlier. We aren't gonna play 3 in 3 days at a beach resort in November again this year.

it all just seems so tone deaf to the severity of the situation

there’s still seems to be this narrative that nothing of substance is going to happen to the kid

if what’s been reported is true, he’s at minimum an accessory to murder

people talking about how he’s going to handle draft interviews is just nutty

What if Bama gets a good seed and goes on a run and like right before like their big final 4 game a warrant is issued…

Part of this is because I am fairly certain they've basically said there is no crime they can charge him with.

Tuscaloosa chief deputy D.A. Paula Whitley said, “That’s not a question I can answer. There’s nothing we could charge him with,’' according to the law, she said.

so, knowingly providing and transporting a firearm for a murder isn’t a crime?

hasn’t it also been reported that he blocked the victims’ getaway with his own vehicle?
