Phd, is she someone that you feel you could have sat down on the floor with when you were 6 and shared your crayons and been best friends?

If so, she doesn't want mention of her personal relationships to alter that.

Maybe she's asexual and not into men/women/other/sex/etc.

Yeah, I think that's a possibility. Another thing is maybe she's just too busy.

Also, according to michhawk, you are a piece of shit for suggesting that she might not be interested in men, and also you shouldn't care. But I appreciate the post. Thanks man.

You're welcome. Have an enjoyable and awkward day at work, while we speculate on your Co workers sexuality!

It's actually not awkward at all.

If things were awkward between us, it would make total sense.

There's another female co-worker that looks like a 12 year old nerdy boy, basically someone who you'd assume guys are not interested in....and I thought she probably wasn't into guys...but she talks about her boyfriend all the time.

Oh, my bad, I didn't mean awkward between you 2 directly...I meant awkward that we are all talking about her on a message board....still better than poli-bored!

Good lord. You guys all need to chill just a bit. So, we have a really good friend, he would do anything for me or my sig other, and we went to his out of state wedding 5+ years ago. Fast forward 8 years. He’s divorced. We see him a couple of times a month. But he NEVER says anything about his current personal relationships/dating UNLESS we ask. And then it’s sort of wired. Like prying. So now we don’t ask. He’s our friend and we can respect his private life is exactly that. His private life. Just let her be.
