I hear what you're saying, but I think Self would at least be somewhat honest if he was considering leaving KU next year. He didn't say he would stay here for 3 or 5 years, but at least we know he'll be back next year. If he was considering leaving, he might say something like, "Well, anything's possible. I'll consider all options..."

This is true. He's always said something along the lines of he'll be here as long as the administration wants him to be here. That type of thing. He's always kind of pulled that card, and will continue to do so.
