With two bigs the lane becomes very congested which means the others have less room to slash to the basket. This negates the offense of Dotson, AGBAJI and especially Grimes.

The two big offense high low concept allows the bigs to get leverage and score inside, but you play inside outside which gives you open shots when the defense collapses on the bigs. When the pass goes outside and it maybe open or it may need to be swung to the other side of the court for the open shot. Which means you need multiple shooters on the floor to take advantage.

MOSS, BRAUN and ENARUNA are all shooters and will all thrive in the two big offense.
but didn’t you hear? The only one who negates Grimes’s offense is Self.

But for real, good post and observations. Gonna keep an eye out for it next game.

Och is going to have games like this. It happened last year where he went through an awful stretch of shooting.

McCormack is a damn beast. He will dominate next year with Dok gone. We will see plenty of flashes this year. Monster.

Dotson will quietly lead this team in scoring this year. You look down and he has 15.

Silvio looked vastly improved from last week. It won’t be long. I really like him in the starting lineup.

Garrett was mostly MIA offensively tonight. He can score when he needs to. I like his lockdown mentality on D.

Enaruna is Svi 2.0. Bright future ahead.

Folks, this team has very few weaknesses. If we can avoid the injury bug from here on out, I fully expect to see us in the Final 4.
Yes, there's a lot to be excited about with this years team.

Ima call him the Windmill from now on bc he tried a half windmill and well...where he’s from.

He’s my fourth fave player I think now.

Dok
Chai
Dot
Windmill
Garrett ( no nickname needed I don’t think )
Big Mac
DeSousa ( nickname coming )

I wish we coulda had Wilson. I don’t think we will realize how he coulda helped our team this season. Moss will fill in great bit I still think he coulda played a decent role.

Yeah Wilson’s a bummer.

This season still has a lot of weapons. I expected Moss to play a bigger role than Wilson this year either way. Talented senior, and the best shooter on a team that needs shooters.

Oh, and how about Marcus “only thing uglier than his jumper is his hairdo” Garrett?

and given his talent combined with the shit he’s been through thus far, more than any other individual this season I might be most excited for Silvio.

Need silvio to round into form. The potential is there but hes been underwhelming thus far. Mac has been the better option so far, I did not expect that.

Lol. Now we know why the Monmouth kid looked pissed when he stole and dunked the ball at the end of the game.

I like the UNC Greensboro-Radford math he did. It means KU was actually national champion about 30 more times.

Do we ever see Silvio scoring 28 in a game?

In one game? Sure. He has lost some confidence right now but he is still skilled. I doubt many thought DMac was going to hang 28 on someone at this point so anything is possible.

If the stars aligned in the right match up then yeah, I could see DeSousa going for 28 because I could see Self feeding him big time to reward him if he saw that he had it going hot like DMac did.

What’s weird is whenever Silvio gets it down low he always seems to get his shot blocked or he gets gummed up no matter who his opponent is. This didn’t seem to be a problem the year before last. Maybe he is hurt in addition to his confidence level being low and being rusty.

he definitely brings the ball down too frequently when he gets it in the post. rather than just turn and go up, he feels the need to put the ball on the floor.

There's a balm for that.

SDS doesn't seem to have much lift unless he's running. No explosiveness from a stand still.
