Oh come on, Och, DMac and Chris Braun are going to play a ton.

d mac and de sousa will be a beast of a 1/2 punch at center. not sure where mitch fits in again. hes shown ability to hit the 3. hopefully he has been working on his perimeter defense. he'll never be a center too slight of build. hopefully we can tweak the offense/defense and get him minutes next to the other big. Gethro Muscadin should redshirt. looks like a project big and is buried behind good upperclassman. good upside tho

Because it’s fun to think about, I was bored at work, and it has zero impact on this season. Clearly the board has thoughts on this because we have a few comments here.

Hopefully our Chris Braun sticks to beating his opponents on the court...

I agree. but who's to say it isn't possible for de sousa to challenge dmac at center? who's to say that jalen wilson and tristan enaranu won't challenge for big minutes alongside them? and bryce thompson(5 star combo guard)? Is thompson good enough to challenge the returning players for a starting spot? self sold him on dotson leaving and there being opportunity for him there. then there is tyson foster?? no clue where he fits in. juco guy. but he is big athletic decently skilled and from what I hear is supposed to be damn good. dajuan harris is probably the only true typical point guard. I imagine he factors in as well. and I haven't even mentioned mitch?? will we play 2 bigs to get mitch a bigger role? will he have to play center.. not his natural role.

I feel ya man. We should have a monster of a team coming back, I'm excited too. I want to see what this years team is going to do first tho lol.

and there are a lot of unknowns. roster could still change. could be transfers? if we get hot in march, win a title, and someone like ochai or marcus garrett have a huge tournament and decide to leave early? maybe some of the incoming recruits don't make it? people have suggested jossell might not

My sense is that Ochai has the most potential to be helped by a title run, given his physical gifts. Idk about Marcus, he could test the waters in order to learn about his weaknesses and potential draft stock. I doubt we see Jossell if we don’t have any other departures.

Thompson would seem to be the guy you look at first. Then Silvio.

If it's a 2-year ban, guys like Grant-Foster, Enaruna, Wilson, maybe even Braun. Guys that can bloom into NBA players.

Not sure I see it the same way for the returners. It might still be better to play for KU, and not play in the tournament, than play somewhere else.

Oh I'm just listing logical candidates. I think nearly all stay. They knew about the situation from our staff, AD, and also guys like Scott Drew and John Calipari.

I feel that is a poorly placed comma. Changes the entire tone of the tweet.

The real kick in the nuts is that he's turned himself into a surefire draft pick. Meaning he's gotta go.

And, we don't get to see that Udoka on the national stage.

Enaruna and/or Muscadin would be prime RS candidates.

I can also see Enaruna or Silvio transferring.

That said, I truly believe Silvio will be back. We need 3 solid bigs. And all 3 are agile enough to guard the stretch 4’s.

Preseason top 10 easily. Should be a NC contender once more.
