Would take Davis.
Or Adam Miller.

Jarod Lucas would be a nice JCL replacement, they're nearly identical players.

Landers Nolley or Ali Ali for long athletic wings that can shoot.

I don't. But I also am cautious about MJ Rice playing a big role and don't think it's a good idea for Dajuan to play 33+ minutes night in/night out.

yea.

I think Dajuan can still have a big role doing what he's done.

but I also think any rotation including Dajuan has a much lower ceiling without some second option at ball handler who is also a threat to score. Ideally someone who can play alongside Dajuan, as well as play instead of Dajuan.

I don't even wanna think about this year's tournament without one.

I think you're describing Davis.

Although I wish he were 6'3".

Bingo. I think he's too small, especially next to Harris. He'd have to take a decreased role here.

Doesn't matter, though, his list of suitors is huge and reportedly Kansas is not one of them.
Isn't Pack the same size as Remy Martin?

Probably similar, but Remy is and was a point guard.

Pack played 33+ minutes at the off guard spot and jacked up 24 shots per 100 possessions, 14 being 3's.

try and think about the tourney without DH’s defense

Maybe the SMU guy from the portal, Kendric Davis, could be a nice piece, especially if Braun leaves. Put him in with Harris, Dick, MJ Rice(or preferably Wilson if he returns) and whoever wins the big man battle for the starting spot and KU is pretty set.

I don't wanna think about that, either! didn't mean to discredit DH.

But the thing is, we don't have to replace the role of DH and his defense for likely the next 3 years.

what we do have to replace, is that smooth sipping cognac of a scoring pg to complement him.

And the latter is much harder to replace.

Kinda what Remy did in his last two years at Zona State tho.
You could argue, statistically, Nigel's last season, in terms of useage, was similar to Remy's last at Zona State, but with better shooting percentages...and in a tougher conference defensively.

Enaroona might actually be a load on some mid-major team, at least for the like 4 games a year he actually shows up

NDballer13 wrote: Tue Apr 05, 2022 4:53 pm I don't see how you can play Clemence as the lone big for extended periods of time unless he adds 20+ lbs of muscle. Same goes for 6'7" KJ who I think you'll see more on the wing for the rest of his career than being the lone big in a lineup. Outside those two, your putting faith in a D2 transfer and a freshman.

Broome will be arguably the best big on the market and a legit shot blocker who you can also throw the ball to on the block and he'll get a bucket.

Doesn't need to be a position of need, if you can still upgrade it, why not?
I think you might be underestimating clemence and adams. They will come back a lot stronger, but players often make a big jump between fresh and sophomore, and I think both these guys are poised to take huge steps forward. They got their feet wet this year and are ready for that opportunity.

Do you guys think they can play together at the 4 and 5? I do. One is athletic/mobile enough to guard 1-5 and one can shoot better than all our guards. Self can create match up nightmares building around those 2
They played together at times this year. They will A LOT next year.
