I heard that on the radio today too. I thought I’d be rocking some classical this morning too, but instead there’s currently blues.

Speaking off, I been talking guitars with an old musician buddy. He’s trying to sell one that’s a particular mode I’ve always liked. I don’t play enough guitar to justify it though, but still fun to look.

I found this particular one in a particular color that I love. It’s black, but like a translucent black stain, so you can still see the natural wood grain. So I google some images of it, and....ohhh boy!

Note to product designers: though a color name may be appropriate when describing a product, please consider what that term may also mean when you do an online image search for as much.

So if anyone asks, that’s why I have “trans ebony” in my browser history.

Yeah, sure, that is why “Tool” appears so often in your browser history.

Uncovering a more secretive side of me, I start pretty much every Saturday morning listening to the first 2 acts of this opera. Shout out to local Kansan Samuel Ramey who delivers a profound bass performance, and who can turn away from Kathleen battle?

Ramey absolutely rules; Battle has always had amazing pipes, but wow, what a diva (in the worst sense of the word, unfortunately)

I am pretty eclectic in my music tastes, but right now I can't get I Got a Car by George Strait out of my head. It's a pretty perfect song.

Same. I'm very eclectic with my music selection. Anything from country to alt to rock to Rap to R&B and some 70s and 80s mixed in there too. I can straight jam to most everything. But that George Straight song is a good one, for sure. George is a nice smooth country artist who anyone can sit back to and nod your head to.

I'm on a BIG Foo kick right now. Learn to Fly is a song that I listen to on my drive to and from the office most days.

I was introduced one time to Sam Ramey at a Starbucks in Chicago. Didn't know he was an opera singer. Instead I told him how much I loved "Evil Dead 2."

In his deep voice he responded, "I think you've got the wrong guy."
