I don't know if this is right but based on their scoring history at KU - I'm guessing.....

Damn! I just looked it up.
If someone comes up with the correct answer/s I'm going to accuse them of looking it up.
My guess is you probably agree pdub.

Question 30:

Since 1985, 4 players have recorded 8+ steals in a single game, and one of them did it twice. Who are they?

I'll take a stab and probably embarrass myself.

Russ Rob
Air Miles
Rio Chalmers
Jacque Vaughn

Chalmers I think had 8 steals to go with like 9 turnovers against UCLA in the tourney?

You sure they have individual game stats for steals going back to 85? That would surprise me.

Assuming that's true...
Manning
Chalmers x2
Miles
Milt Newton? Or someone like that from my early childhood.

I think they have steals stats for everything until the late 70s.
I have data til 1985 available to me - which is why that's the cut off for many of my questions.
And I looked up the UCLA game - pretty close, but Chalmers only had 6 steals in that one ( and 7!! turnovers ).

I feel like Marcus G was responsible for 8 steals in multiple games...even if he never actually got there.

Believe it or not, Garrett's game high in steals is 6, and he did it his sophomore year.

Question 31:
Kansas has two players with official triple-doubles ( in a game ) and two players with unofficial triple doubles.
Who are the official and unofficial?

Cole is one official and Wilt is one unofficial

And just to clarify for those who didn’t already know, an “official” triple double is one written in the box score in all caps lock.

Was it Withey?

For him, getting double digit blocks might be even easier than double digit any other stat

Cole - Dayton in NCAA tournament
Withey - Like Long Beach State or something in November. Had like 18, 11 and 12 or 13 blocks

Wilt
Lovellette
