I will say that I picked USC in my bracket and had KU won tonight I would have fully expected them to lose to Oregon.

The west was a monster. The other regions not so much. DMac was exhausted. Wilson out of synch and easily tired. COVID ensured it was a blowout, but SC procured a really good team.

Bill Self the HOF coach getting paid what? Many millions a season?
Admitting USC was "obviously more prepared" and they were "coached better" by a guy who has won a couple of tournament games in his career and is making 1 million a season.
Am I supposed to be ok with that? I'm not.

So based on Self's assessment, do we fire him now and go after Andy Enfield or do we wait until if/when Self leaves on his own accord?
I don't know about Enfield but I would have no problem with Amanda Marcum in the stands.

I don't feel "heads need to roll" per se but I do feel he and the staff should be held accountable.
While it may be admirable for him to heap praise on Enfield and the USC staff, it's not ok with me for our "elite" HOF coach and his staff to not be prepared and to be out coached in the tournament - yet again - by an inferior coach.
It reminds me of my being there when fricking Jim Les out prepared and out coached Self. It literally made me want to vomit.
Well, as a Cubs fan for many years pre 2016, I guess maybe my attitude should be - oh well, wait till next year. Perhaps it will be in the near future - but not today.

One of the problems with a high seed is that teams do well to simply prepare for them in the week before the tournament. SC scouted and was ready. KU always seems to have weird matchup problems.
