33-5 run by Dallas. If the Suns had the heart of our Jayhawks maybe they'd have a chance....but they don't. Quitters. Cp3 has taken 4 shots. Booker 7. Neither have a make.

Booker ready for a summer with his hot Kardashian GF. πŸ”₯

CP3 probably just sealed his legacy. Great PG. HoFer. But not an elite winner. What an embarrassing showing.

5th time Chris Paul has lost a 7 game series after leading 2-0.

Stockton, Iverson and Reggie never won a title either.

But yea, blowing this lead in this fashion is rough but I think the Suns woulda ultimately fallen to the Warriors anyways.

For sure. And ultimately that's probably the tier of players he will fall into, although it'll be near the bottom of that tier. Which is full of hall of famers.

A championship would have really changed his legacy.

Side note: he looked like he hurt his leg in the 3rd quarter. Game was essentially over by then, but worth noting.

Suns got flustered in the 1st quarter after Dallas got a 10pt lead and totally abandoned their game plan. Started taking bad shots early in possessions, and were settling for role player looks instead of getting the ball to Booker CP3 and Ayton.

He's in my top 40 of all time.

3rd in overall assists.
4th in overall steals.
1st in AST/TO ratio.
44th in points.
9 All-Defensive teams ( tied for 6th overall ) .

But a title definitely would have helped his legacy.

Theres a GOAT reason Stockton and Reggie don't have titles.

Well in his defense, CP3 can point to playing during the Kobe era/Lakers run, Spurs dynasty/Warriors dynasty, and LeBron era.

Although iirc he's only been to conference finals one time? Maybe 2?

I'd say there's a GTOAT reason ( and an unfortunate injury ) why CP3 doesn't have a title.

MVP's Durant and Curry + Klay + defensive player of the year Dray.
Sheesh.

CP3 could also point to Stern's blocked trade which would have put him on defending NBA champion Lakers with Kobe, Dwight Howard, Bynum and Artest.

Good point. Especially considering what they allow nowadays.

Actually, I think Bynum would have been involved in the Howard trade.

But I guess those moves would have cleared 25 million in cap which could have landed the Lakers a guy like Eric Gordon and a bench guy like Jamal Crawford.

CP3, Gordon, Kobe, Artest, Howard.
Crawford.
Pretty good.

Kobe won lots of games with less talent than that for sure.

Bizarrely bad basketball to watch too, especially for the playoffs. A player's league where player's have other places they want to be.

I think the Celtics Bucks was good.
That conference finals should be interesting with two of the best defensive teams in the league battling it out.
I can see Miami beating the Celtics but I think the Celtics would have the best shot against the Warriors.

I wonder how the warriors are going to deal with Doncic. Wiggins is the obvious choice...but when they have Luka and either Brunson or Dinwiddie in alongside him, Steph or Klay is going to be forced to defend. Interesting matchups.

If I am not mistaken, I believe I saw the Mavs were 24-1 (on Draft Kings) to win the title before yesterday's game. They are now 5.5 to 1.
