I beleive the raiders got eliminated from the playoffs last weekend. So it would be pointless to risk injury to car in the last 2 weeks, when they already gave him a contract extension. They are better off losing both games and getting slightly better draft picks

That is kind of interesting that they would go ahead and bench him when they technically still have a shot. I know they've been on the outside looking in for awhile

You worked with David Carr?

In all seriousness, why would anyone trade for Carr? He has an RB that leads the league in rushing yards this season and his team just traded for Davante freaking Adams and they still suck. There aren't any teams in desperate need of a QB that have an RB/WR combo better than that. So really, what are you getting?!?

They're a top half scoring offense with a defense that is something like 20th. That's been a weak link for them.

Someone, ahem Jets, is going to get a top 15 NFL QB next year.

Not to mention the Raiders have had, by far, the worst drafts over the last 5+ years. I’m not the biggest Carr fan, but he’s a top half QB who had some crap happen to him lately. Gruden emails, Ruggs arrested, Waller often injured, Renfroe also injured, Josh Jacobs not getting a 5th year option.

He led the Raiders to the playoffs with an interim coach, Renfroe as top WR and still lost by just 7 at Cincy in WC round.
