When you're so sick of dealing with people struggling with mental and drug issues that you would rather watch someone die than get your uniform wet, you should probably seek new employment. If you don't like blood, don't be an ER doc and if you don't like dealing with people struggling in life then don't be a cop.

Mind boggling amounts of moral depravity from these officers.

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Enjoy the next few decades in state prison having done unto you what you did to those two men.

Coming from where I have been, I can honestly say that local police are, at best, 80% good officers trying to make good decisions and be socially responsible.

10%….subject to their emotions at the time / place.

10%….sadistic pricks with a weakness that THEY consider a strength

Just depends on where "local" is. Odds are that those number sway up and down depending on location, size of law enforcement staff and who did the hiring.

The small-town Kansas newspaper raided by police officers on Friday had been looking into allegations of misconduct against the local chief just months ago, according to the paper's publisher, raising further concerns about the law enforcement officers' motives.
