And man, thank the fucking lord for Dotson.

Without him, that 19 team may not have won a single game

Dotson woulda.
He was the no. 4 overall PG.
Yeah, but we didn’t know that until Dotson did Dotson things. If he was part of next year’s class, we’d expect him to be coming off the bench. Heck, before the season started, we were expecting him to come off the bench behind Charlie Moore.
I think Moore was more an insurance policy in case Dotson had a slow growth a la Mario Chalmers sitting behind J Hawk and Vinson.

Hopefully our next coach at whatever point that hire needs to be made.

Ideally, an up-and-comer would have an Illinois job before coming here. Alabama and Texas Tech would qualify.

Brad Stevens also seems a lot more realistic now than 2 years ago.

NCAA already announcing he is suspended for the first tournament game.

Just kidding.
But I wouldn't be shocked if the SEC suspended him a game.

Too fucking fast. Tried so hard to find where it was. Had tweet copied and ready to paste.

Very smart of Bill to do.

Seems Garrett is gone, provided we get to play next weekend.

Archie out. I would imagine that IU will make a hard push for Stevens to say no.

They'll call up Scott Drew.

Scott Drew would probably take that call; but probably wouldn't take the job. I'm thinking they'll take the risk and go all in on Rick Pitino...unless they want to try and bring back Kelvin Samsung...I mean Sampson; not sure which is a worse look, but they need a big splash.

Pitino is almost 70 and brings a lot of baggage and scrutiny from the NCAA and media.

I think Travis Steele ( born in Indiana, assistant coach there in 2008 ) would fit for both parties.

It’s really sad that IU and UCLA have become such tough places for coaches. The turnover is mind boggling
