Good grief, you're suggesting that women shouldn't complain about rape because they don't get themselves sent to prison as much as men? Seriously?
No, that's not what I said. Where did I say "women shouldn't complain about rape"? My point is, rape is not a problem exclusive to America, and it's less of a problem here than say, Africa. A college campus in America is one of the safest places a young woman can be.
Uh, wtf? Have you researched what the sexual assault rates on college campuses are? Nearly 1 in 4 women will be sexually assaulted during their 4 years at school. Not sure where you live but I personally do not find those rates to be in the "one of the safest places a young woman can be" range.

Yes, we all agree that we are all, both men and women, safer in the US than in some third world African nation but is "at least we rape less than Nairobi" really our goal as a nation?

That 1 in 4 is not entirely accurate. But once again, you're missing the larger picture. America is one of the safest places in the world with as much opportunity as anywhere. Why are we wasting time being obsessed with the small problems here when there are serious problems abroad? Our society has become so entitled and so obsessed with finding excuses for not succeeding that we've lost sight of the bigger picture.

That 25% isn't entire accurate because approximately 90% of college campus sexual assaults go unreported because of the exact mindset your post displays.

"The small problems here"?!? The fact that you think that 51% of our country being subjected to such an alarming rate of sexual assault is a "small problem" is why this is such a big problem.

Grow up. If you have something to offer to the conversation then feel free. Comments like that are how you got banned from the last site.
Intolerant liberals who don't like what conservatives post are in control here. Probably only a matter of time before they show their true colors. First amendment be damned. Sad.
I got banned from the last site and I can fairly confidently say pwhitt isn't going to ban them for having conservative views/opinions....he knew what he was getting into with every person he allowed back that was banned at .net.....which is why gusher isn't here.

Illy, do you think your banning at the last site was due to holding conservative views?

See, it's this kind of posting that shows what a valuable member of the board Count is.

Note to everyone else: As soon as you make even a tiny comment at Count's expense, he'll look to cry about it to someone. Stay tuned.

Sort of, and not being anti-Trump enough for certain people.... but I chose to troll Vega a bit on the politics board and he banned me. In retrospect, I probably should have picked someone different to mess with...

I'm not really a "conservative", but I'm definitely annoyed by liberals (and liberal hypocrisy that runs rampant these days, and annoyed with the ridiculous conservatives...I'm an equal opportunity hater of the extreme right and left.

But I definitely didn't get banned for being a "troll"...because even if I was (maybe still am?) annoying by posting too much and arguing too long, it was pretty obvious I'm a Kansas fan and was mainly there to talk about our basketball team and Jayhawks in the NBA or basketball in general.

That had nothing to do with me getting banned.

Might be why many didn't like me, but not why I was banned.

Who among them understands economics and negotiation with foreign leaders? Try replacing Trumps name with any of the above with headlines such as “Trump Gets Oil Traders Attention Over Call With Saudi King” or “Trump says U.S., Canada Are Said to Close In on NAFTA Deal This Weekend so it can be signed by Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto before he leaves office”. Or “Trump this week harshly criticized globalism in general and questioned America’s participation in multilateral institutions like the WRO”.
See what I mean?
Interesting that some can't call female elected officials by their actual names, but it's okay to get Avenatti correct, even the spelling, because he is after all, a white male.

I couldn't live my everyday life with that level of paranoia. Sometimes I think some people try too hard to be offended by things that really aren't that serious.

He even called the white male a creepy porn lawyer..and someone else Spartacus.

There is plenty of sexism (and racism) in our country, but trying to make everything about gender or race really ruins it for when there is actual sexism and racism imo.

I do find it interesting that bashing all white males now seems like a hobby by the extreme left...there are plenty of bad white males, but not all of us are bad, and when you start stereotyping an entire group of people it really opens up the possibility of looking ignorant (whether white males, or black males, or white women or black women, etc).

JFC

It's a scary time to be anyone in America.

Most males don't sexually assault females because it's a pathetic/gross/violent thing to do. If sexual assault were more accepted/legal (like in some other countries) I still wouldn't commit sexual assault.

What trump said was stupid and tone deaf. He clearly means it's scary if you can get accused of something and be guilty until proven innocent....but he's too dumb to think about what he's saying before be says it.

Having grown up in the South, recognizing the power behind labeling and using certain terms to smear people is simply reality.
