That’s a reason why college basketball continues to get worse.

That’s a flagrant? By the rules?
Awful.

Ok so some of this isn’t our fault.
They are throwing up junk to stay on it.

We might meet Tennessee in a week.

It seems like we are very early in the season (duh). Dudes aren’t scrapping for everything like I expect a Self team to do. Just a lot of little things that seem like our youngins think they can goof off, celebrate, and just generally being cocky instead of valuing every possession.
Lots of good stuff too.

Ugly game, but Vick has two straight with 30 points.

MVP has to be Vick.
But man, I love McCormack flying around.

Boy are we lucky Vick came back. We could be 1-2 without him.

one thing I like about espn+ is the pregame and postgame shows. definitely worth the $5 bucks for the month.

Of relief. Dedric goes for 15 points in 18 2nd half minutes when letting the game come to him. Looked back to form after a bad week. He will finish better and be in the upper 20s instead of 19 tonight.

Havent seen a guy start a season missing so many bunnies since Landen Lucas. Lawson had probably six of them painfully roll off the rim tonight to the point of comical. Luck will swing his way and those will start to drop soon enough.

After that fat little center of theirs started with 17 points in 10 minutes and Self blew his top, KU finally settled in and started guarding a little better. Fun game, more competitive than expected. Will be interesting to see how good these past two opponents turn out to be.

He was 6-11 on field goals. 1 of those misses was a 3. Definitely missed a couple in close, but not as many as it seemed.
