And we had the opportunities to win this by 20 but we didn't. Neither team could run much offense or make shots.

Was happy with the defensive effort. It was a roi win too—phenomenally outscored them on the break. Have not lost on neutral floors. Hmmm

Still trying to figure out how Osetkowski got away with tackling Dotson literally in front of the whole arena.

Big Dave is coming up big. Need him to continue to play well.

Grimes has some big boards and FT there to wrap it up.

Officially worried about Ochai.

Garrett seems still timid with the ankle.

Did KJ play tonight?

Good win. Didn’t play the best. But got it done on defense and on the glass.

Well played defensively by both teams.

Texas couldn't hit wide open shots. Wouldn't call that D.

With TT out, it gives us a much better shot at winning this conference tourney. Could also boost our resume and improve our seeding, as well as give these young guys some valuable experience.

I am not sure if beating Texas, West Viginia and either Iowa State or a Wade-less Kansas State will boost us to a 3 seed or not. Looks like the competition for a 3 seed is LSU, Texas Tech, Houston, Purdue, Florida State, Kansas State and Wisconsin. All but Texas Tech are still alive and playing tonight in their conference tourneys.

Over. A $12M buyout might be hefty for them. They might give him one more year.

All of those teams could drop in the tourney.
We're not far behind LSU, Purdue, Wisconsin or Florida State in NET. We're ahead of ksu.
Not sure if they'll consider strength of schedule but we're ahead of all those teams in a number of metrics.

We finish 25-8 and Purdue, FSU, Wiscy and ksu loose, I think we have a good shot.

I think NET caps win differential at 10 points or something.
Obviously it would be good to win the next two games by 10+ points.

I can beat that post actually.
Obviously it would be good to win the next eight games by 10+ points.

Agree with that.

I think we're a lock for a 3 if we win the Big 12 tournament.

I think Tech is a lock for "4-seed most likely to make their 1-seed shit a goddamn brick."

One of the few times I've agreed with this guy. KU could get the 3 by winning next two games, but don't think Tech falls to the 4 line even with last night's loss.
