ESPN must be thrilled that the final for this Tournament is Belmont vs Dayton.

Our guards better work on the FT shooting though.

OK game.
No trouble scoring.
Lotta our guys involved.

Prob shouldn't let Iona score that much on us but it's a win.

Weird how comfortable other teams get shooting in the stretch. That is a problem and is because the defense goes soft.

Bill said the defense played by KU in the 2nd half was some of the worst he's ever seen.

I don't necessarily think that's coach-speak either; they have some huge issues that won't be an easy fix overnight.

Our interior defense and defensive rebounding in the paint is awful.

Something that stuck with me was Wilson guarding a perimeter shooter sometime late in the game, maybe 4-minutes left, and only grudgingly challenging the shot then shrugging his shoulders as like the fourth straight three went in. This is to say, he did a little better today than Friday, but appears to be sulking about his PT. Missing free throws, not challenging threes, being late on assignments, sulking around on the floor--he is pushing the YMCA buttons.

I still can't get over the fact Ochai jumped center cuz our 6'10" guy can't win a tip.

Self deals with those kinds of issues pretty well. We have plenty of soft games coming up so we should be in a situation where Self is able to give minutes to the guys that earn them without totally screwing our chances to win. If Wilson wants to play more then he will need to play better, especially on defense.
