I'm curious what k state brings in next season. How do they look once nowell and Johnson are gone?

Not many coaches get to have 2 first team all league seniors their first season with a new program

three top 100 incoming 4* freshmen. three coming off redshirts. two front line starters return, n'guessan and tomlin. tang will surely go to the portal to fill the guard slots. na'quan tomlin, if he fixes his jump shot, will be all-conference. tang has said his scout team gave his starters fits all season. best of the lot is supposedly taj manning, a 3* 6'7" forward out of st. louis. the future looks bright. but it's a promissory note, isn't it. i'll believe it when i see it. just like this year.

Gonzaga. They're fine. The little engine that could for 20 years deserves one
Princeton. Because it'd be a blast. But a road of Creighton, and then Bama or SD State is tough
Houston. Future Big 12 team. Going to have fun battles with them over next couple of years until Kelvin retires.

In that order.

Screw everyone else.

two top 100 4* freshmen barely ( rj jones is 100th ).
one 3* freshman.
still pretty decent tho.

Want
UCLA
Texas
Princeton
Tennessee

Think
Zags
Houston
Bama
Tennessee

On a side note, turns out Creighton may not be a "contender" but they are more of a "contender" than Kansas, Arizona, Baylor, Purdue, and Marquette.

Michigan State are favorites over ksu.
if gambling was legal in my state i might tease ksu to -2.

If Fanduel would allow me to tease a single team I would book it for you.

I think they call them alternates - but -3.5 seems too much and .5 is actually less of a value than moneyline. Don't know if the app allows you more options.

I like ksu by 2 or 3 - if it's 2 then you get your money back.

https://sportsbook.fanduel.com/basketba ... alternates

They offer win margins, 1-10, though at +220.

KSU got the breaks we did last year. They hit shots that MSU misses. They are vulnerable to the remaining defenses though.

you think Perry used Lebron's rug guy, or just stuck with Self's?

Just sunk in how much I dislike the game day KU was ‘supposed’ to play next. Especially when it’s on a Thursday/Friday.

He doesn't have Lebron money.

Then again, he doesn't have Self money either.

Hard not to root for K-State, gritty, tough game. Likeable coach and players play hard for him. Self needs to get some damn shooters for sure. Miss the days of Mason and Devonte running the point or even Chalmers and Collins. Those guys were fast and could pull up and shoot and were masters of driving in the lane and dishing to the open guy with a no look pass. Nowell is a stud.

I personally find it quite easy not to root for K-State.
