Stop calling it a personal belief.

It's a bad decision pure and simple.
One that is affecting much more people than just the bad decision maker.
Right, we're acting like it's choosing what to eat for lunch or who to marry.

It's much closer to wreckless endangerment.

These clowns would defend driving blindfolded..."I mean, I don't want the government controlling people, if you want to drive blindfolded that's your decision man". Hell, Illy already said he'd stay home and stop driving to allow others to drive 120 mph.
Freedom!

The vast majority of hospitals are operational with available covid ICU beds if needed. Even in the larger first surge prior to vaccines very few ever ran out of space. Few if any people (in our country) died in the parking lot after being refused admittance for medical treatment.

55%ish + of our population is almost 100% protected from needing to go to the hospital for covid treatment. 9 months ago that wasn't the case.
SLC icu wards are at or above capacity

where are you seeing that the “vast majority” have available beds?

or are you just making shit up again?

We have far less people hospitalized now than we did during the peak of Nov 2020-Feb 2020 when the vaccines started to be distributed.

So you'd deny medical service to someone based on personal beliefs?

Slippery slope.
Stop calling it a personal belief.

So is using heroin...should we refuse medical services to people who OD?
heroin IS illegal.

Your arguing against your central thesis here, which is no vaccine mandates.

Heroin would only be a good comparison if the person taking it could inadvertantly cause others to overdose on it by breathing and talking near them.

This just confirms how truly shitty these lazy selfish fucks are:

Unvaccinated Americans not changing their behavior, report finds

Unvaccinated adults are far less likely to wear masks and avoid crowds

It's a graph that shows total hospitalized people. We are nowhere close to the peak.

All the info you seek is on the CDC website. People are not dying in the streets. And the people who are dying are unvaccinated.

Hospitalizations due to covid are ticking upwards, which is not surprising. It is summer, people are gathering, and many people are vaccinated and have let their guard down even though they still contract and spread the virus (they just don't get as sick and almost never die)....

BUT Hospitalizations are as low as they were in March 2020 when restrictions and lockdowns began to be lifted.

We are doing a good job. Keep getting vaccinated people!

It is kind of like when we march out that 70% vaccinated number--there are layers behind it.

The places where hospitals are too packed and they are asking the public for relief are in areas where vaccination rates are low. Shocker.

It's simple math.

Your hysteria about hospitals overflowing worse than they did during the peak is wildly undeserved. Areas with surges are seeing ICUs fill up, but these are the some of the same areas that filled up the first time because they're in areas where people don't give a shit if they get covid.

just google: number of icu wards at or above capacity

then look at the “news” tab

oklahoma, georgia, DFW, south carolina, louisiana...it’s happening in a lot of places

Not a shocker. Those are the areas where we need to get good information out so that those people get vaccinated.

We are on the same team here man.

Rural hospital patients then spill over into the city hospitals--we are seeing it right now.

Also, the entire world has really changed how they treat COVID patients as we learn more about it. Hospitals are not good places for people with mild cases of COVID. Too much other shit going around. At first, mild cases were being put into hospitals. We don't do that anymore.
