Grimes had 10 and 10. Is he broken?

Dedric scoreless for the first time in his career. Previous low was 6. Only his tenth game not in double figures. 7 of those were his freshman year.

Four different starters have already scored 20+ in a game and we're only 2 games into the season. And it's a safe bet that Dotson will have a 20 point game by the end of non-con. We can beat teams in a lot of different ways.

Lawson is a good college player but he was flat out not engaged last night. Nothing fell for him and he looked a step slow like he wasn't feeling well. Played very "hazy" out there last night. No big deal on this team. That Vermont team will win their conference, make the ncaa tourney and put a big scare into some team seeded in the 3-6 range.

At least 4 times last night I asked my wife if he was sick.

Did that probably end dedric's chances at being national player of the year?

Just 1 game, but I don't envision any 0pt games by the Duke boys who he will be competing with.

I don't think one game ended his chances in anyway but I don't think he wins it from what i've seen.
He's still going to be one of the better players in the country.

Totally agree he's still going to be a 1st or 2nd team AA. I figured for him to have a NPOY chance against the Duke hype machine he'd have to play nearly perfect the entire year, average a double double, and we'd need to be top 2 or 3 all year with only a couple losses.

Mitch might be the most "athletic" of our frontcourt players.

If we had DeSousa, that would not be the case.
I think he's more athletic than Dedric and McCormack.
It depends on definitions of athletic when comparing to Dok.

Agree. I consider Dok the most athletic of the bigs....mitch is the quickest and probably has the highest vertical.

Lightfoot faster, more agile, better jumper, more fit.
Dok exponentially stronger to the degree it could outweigh the advantages of athleticism that Lightfoot has.
