Good thing Harbaugh didn't come to KU. He blows. Lost to Mel Fricking Tucker today.
My mother could out coach Mel Tucker.

It was cute when they got their hopes hope after beating LSU, which is fine, but LSU is actually pretty bad this year.

Site froze on me when I made my predictions and the post didn't go through.
No one cares anyways.
I knew some games were canceled today but didn't realize there are more than just a couple.
No good.
I just don't see how there can be an even semi normal BCS bowl plan.

Only games of interest to me today are ND at BC, Northwestern at Purdue, and Wisconsin at Michigan.
Pretty much nothing but a bunch of junk all day - and night!

I like ND to win by 10
One of those games where I figure either BC gives ND all they can handle or ND blows them out.

Purdue to win by 7
Northwestern magic has to end eventually.

Michigan to win by 4
Very difficult for me to predict not knowing if Mertz is playing. I assume he will and Michigan will still find a way to win. Opposite of Northwestern - they are due for some good luck.

Watching MSU today and last week yikes I thought KU’s QB play was bad. Rocky said here hold my beer. He is awful even though he did lead them to a W against Michigan which is more than KU has.

Here is my beef, notwithstanding my understanding of KU's unique situation due to its Athletic Directors: If Indiana can be undefeated and play this well after being shit a short time ago, why is KU in this position?

I blame the previous Chancellor that didn't give a shit. I blame, reluctantly, Lew Perkins. I blame that twerp Shane Zenger, who had the nerve to sit at the press table during basketball season when the football barn was burning. I can't think anymore.

All of our current problems definite trace to Lew Perkins. That guy was a fucking disaster of a hire.

I don't agree at all with blaming the chancellor. The entities operate separately.

At the root has been an athletic department and/or donor issue along with the fans. They've never really cared. KUAC (pre-covid at least) operates in the black.

You can’t blame the fans.
Mangino had Memorial packed.
The fans will be there if there’s any sense of competitive product.

There hasn’t been in 11 years.

I assume they are not but the KU players and coaching staff might enjoy watching the Northwestern / Purdue game. Certainly wouldn't hurt them if they were watching it.
Win or lose, Northwestern is so well coached and the players actually do such a good job of executing the game plan. They are a pleasure to watch play football.

The issue is there hasn't been one problem for KU football. You can't point to one guy or regime. They have all had a hand in what we are watching and will be watching for the next couple of years. KU football has always been a distant second to the basketball program so it has then been treated like a second thought. Once we got an AD that realized how important a successful football program is we were so far in a hole that the best we could do is a mostly washed up and recognition by name only HC. Now we will have to play catch up for the near foreseeable future.
