And he did well this season.
I don’t think he did well tonight nor did he do well in the game v Texas.
I think Self could have done better on both those games and would likely have been the difference for us to advance tonight.
Thank god Self wasn't head coach during any 20pt beatdowns this year. Or any close losses where our final possession or 2 sucked.

Oh, wait...
What's the saying? "Touch grass"?

Taking notes here—
Illy and randy say you aren’t allowed to talk negatively about KU personnel after games.

So Bobby is off limits the rest of the offseason and next season if here for you both.

You can talk negatively about whoever you want. You've done it all year.

I just think Norm shouldn't be on the list of people getting blame. At all.

He isn't our head coach. He shouldn't be held to the same standard as Bill Self and then have shade thrown onto him when he doesn't live up to those expectations.

Maybe if Self took better care of himself Norm wouldn't have had to coach the last 10 days of the season during the single elimination portion when you have 24hrs to prepare for teams?

Blame Self, not Norm. Norm fulfilled his obligations.

Man.
This is just a shitty take from you that you keep on using over and over.

Self has been head coach of close games THIS YEAR where we ran shit plays on late possessions that cost us the game too.

Do those play calls not count?

Jalen Wilson missed key shots this season.
He is equally to blame for all of our losses as is Zuby.

Does Self deserve any blame for us losing to Arkansas? Or is it all on Norm?

This thread needs to find a hole to crawl in and stay there.

for the record. I like Norm. He is, of course, not the sole reason we lost....but, his end of game management, his foul situation management, and his end of game play choices were not great. A couple very odd decisions.

We win that game with Self on the bench...no doubt about it.

Again, it’s as if Dajuan didn’t come back and Bobby fucked up the second half.

No, it isn’t fair that Bobby was put in this position to finish the game out but if he was bad, then he was bad.

Bobby of course wouldn’t be the only reason to blame but that wouldn’t stop posters from shitting on him. Or even just saying he’s not as good as Dajuan and if we had Dajuan we probably coulda won.

And it wouldn’t be Dajuans fault Bobby had to play either.

I don’t think Norm coached well enough to beat Arkansas. I think Self would have. Just like I think Dajuan is a better player than Bobby.

All true...I agree.

But the entire point is that Norm isn't our head coach. Why are "we" blaming him for Bill not being there?

We aren’t.

You on the other hand are blaming Bill for not being there.

Nah fam.

But if a coach gets blame, it's the head coach who wasn't there. Not the guy doing his job and his bosses job during the hardest part of the season.

I'd have preferred we just blame the players or the refs for the outcome. But shitting on Norm, which you've been doing for a week, since I said positive things about him because you were trying to prove a point that Self is a better coach than him (no shit), is classless.

It's not Norm's fault that Self wasn't able to be our head coach.

A. I’m not saying it’s Norms fault that he had to be head coach. No one is.

B. Bill Self may have had a heart attack. You have no idea why and are assuming it’s because of the way he conditions himself. So basically, to me, it’s like if a player had a heart attack and we didn’t play them out of precaution and you are blaming them for not playing.

C. So I can mark you as only being positive to all things KU rest of the way.

Will you take back your recent remarks about Zach Clemence plz?
