Texas and Baylor will both be really good. Texas Tech and Okie State will also be tough outs. It will be another strong season for the Big 12.

Why would someone enter the transfer portal and then not transfer and decide to stay?
Because the other schools that showed interest decided they wouldn't pay him what his original school is paying him to stay?

Or it was a way to be allowed to talk to other programs to decide if there might be a better option before deciding that your current option is still the best one.
