good catch.

Just finished Season 1 of Yellowstone (yeah, I'm a bit behind). So far, pretty good.

I’m so-so on the TV version. I’ll never forget the experience of reading it the first time. It’s just a freight train.

the book is better....but, with little kids my non children's book reading time is limited.... I can sometimes throw on a movie in the background and catch some of it....

with the current snow and animal tracks we found I have gotten the 4 year old excited about finding out what they are and have snuck in an actual book about identifying tracks and learning tracking by Josef Brunner. Thats a win...

I love the book and can watch Robert Duvall and Tommy Lee Jones play those roles over and over.

Never liked it either. Also not really a Southpark fan even though it was definitely funny. Just not my thing. If i was watching an adult cartoon comedy I would prefer King of The Hill, Archer or Family Guy.

How do you like king of the hill but not beavis and butthead? It’s like the same characters and everything.

But, I suppose a different angle to it.

And besides, like half of b&b was music videos.

not really the same characters...same animation style, but very different characters...and most of the music videos in Beavis and B were shitty.

its a stoner show. Which...is fine, it just didn't appeal to me.

Their neighbor Tom is basically Hank Hill.

Looks very similar, and the exact same voice.

But yeah, otherwise one is a little dryer, slightly more polished, and about a family of Texans.

The other is more irreverent and whimsical, about two delinquent metalhead adolescents who are simultaneously dumber than shit yet also astute beyond their years.
