Feels like we (finally) submitted something and the NCAA said the same thing they said months ago, and that was that they're not dealing with any of this stuff until after this season...probably said "play him at your own risk" type of BS.

Tangent: Seth Davis's source stated KU told the NCAA that De Sousa did take impermissible benefits.

That means that KU must feel really good about there not being any risk of the NCAA vacating any wins from last season.

Maybe, from now on, instead of telling the world players are injured, we should just say they are being withheld from competition. That way, if/when we need it, we can use the time as time-served down the line.

I don't think De Sousa traveled to Baylor because the game was after the school submitted paperwork stating he was ineligible for the $2,500 payment that occurred prior to committing to KU. Ineligible players cannot travel with the team. I was told there was a tweet of the Kansas team de-planing in West Virginia with De Sousa de-boarding with them. Any truth to this?

Am I correct that prior to them admitting the $2,500 that he was not considered eligible or ineligible because the NCAA had not ruled one way or the other. Therefore could travel with the team? For this to be meaningful, we have to assume that he was ruled ineligible due to the admission and was granted eligibility by the NCAA?
