I think that there are 2 points that can be made regarding Illy:
1) He likes to argue....about anything. The only thing that gives him more pleasure is arguing that he doesn't argue.
2) He desperately wants to be part of DC's cool kids club.

My "star" was on the right edge of the "centrist" section of the grid/spectrum.

2) he likes to pretend he's one of the smarter people on the board, but he isn't..he's closer to illy than he'd like to admit. Yesterday he wondered why the Soviet Union would ban a band that isn't alive anymore.......well, thankfully neither is the Soviet Union....oooops.
