look at the graphs...notice how the aren't single lines, but rather contain uncertainty (AS WITH ANY PREDICTIVE SCIENCE)

but like i said, and for the last time i'll entertain your ignorance, THE TREND HASN'T CHANGED

(i hope it does)

You find that humorous? Maybe laughing at the stupidity of the congressman?
What was the congressman trying to prove, if anything?? I didn't know humans and whales had the same hearing sensitivities.

not that you really care, but whales are more sensitive to low frequencies

the sound waves produced by the seismic testing are amplified by the water

how about you actually try to educate yourself before making more ignorant comments

I was inquiring about hearing sensitivities, hardly an ignorant comment.

Considering your lack of regard for things like reality and facts, no one with a functioning synapse suffers from the impression that you give a damn about the "hearing sensitivities" of humans, much less whales.

I don't believe that the sound of an an air gun would be amplified under water. That makes absolutely no sense at all, and it's ignorant that a congressman would think that. I listened to the seismic airgun blasting on this you tube video and there was no comparison to the objectional airgun noise that the congressman used. The sound heard on the you tube video reminds me of what you hear when you hold a seashell up to your ear.

p.s.
Considering your opinion about my supposedly disregard for reality and facts, I suspect you are referring to my belief that CNN fake news is really fake.

it’s no wonder we have an idiot for a president when people like dolo believe a random youtube video over empirical research by people who actually understand the biology and physics involved

Want to hear some ear shattering noise from underwater seismic testing. Caution is advised.

Any youtube videos shot through the sensory and hearing of a whale or dolphin?

I guess dolodumb doesn't know that ships use minor sonar and sound pulses to herd whales and dolphins in the direction they want them to go in.

Guess what? They aren't moving TOWARD the sonar or sound!
