If you order a chicken finger basket how many chicken strips/fingers is too few if they are standard size?
I’m saying 5 feels normal.
I just got three standard size and like a nugget.

I would expect 3 nice sized strips. I got a 3 piece at Popeye's this week. Pretty tasty but they were small.

4 is the magic number. As long as they’re all decent sized.

We just got A LOT of rain in a short amount of time. Lightning strike on the block behind us. Quite a jump.

Okay, today was a good hard frost.

Was late to work cuz it took so long to scrape off my truck windows enough to see out of them.

Not a bad week in SC Kansas in late June.. Low 90's all week. Humidity relatively low. Breeze around 10mph. Enough to keep it feel not as hot.

Weather forecast for today was Sunny. That's it. Simply Sunny. From sunrise to sunset.
Well, not only is it cloudy right now but there is a severe thunderstorm watch and I see a big storm brewing to the northwest.
Once again, (for the 1,000th+ time in my life) the weather forecaster/s are proving a person can pay a lot for an education and not learn shit.

I took an atmospheric science class in college taught by an arrogant peach of a man who was an ex weatherman/forecaster. Got a C- my worst grade in my tenure there. I got one test back where I got a 60%, theoretical partial essay atmospheric shit...dumb. anyway. I told the professor my 60% accuracy was still 40% better than his entire careers work. I was drunk in class that day, prof was not amused with my commentary was excused from class that week. Asshole moment for me, but I stand by it. He was a dickhead that whole class. To everyone.

I mean, most of the meteorologists get their information from the National Weather Service, and then they take that and try to make a further in-depth prediction.

But they aren't as smart as most think they are, but they are still really dang good at what they do.

There is a KU grad that is the head weatherman for a TV station in Wichita, and he's the best I've ever seen. He explains things on a level that the general public understands. Cool guy who the general public really likes because he explains things on a general level, doesn't get too nerdy during his broadcasts.

Thank you Feral! As I often say, mother nature did all the work - I just pressed a button.

Mjl - Good call! Definitely 1300 N in the pics.
The large building in a couple of the pics is at Pearson and LSD. Which is what? About 800 North?
I'm at about 650 N.LSD - across the street from 680 N.LSD.

So far so good on the weather today. All-be-it kind of humid right now.
Looks to be a perfect day temp wise. Nice to have a pleasant Saturday! So far.
