When is the USMNT going to hire their manager? Their GM is taking his sweet time. It's been over a year now since the debacle in WCQ.

Still think it should be Vermes. Has a great eye for talent and is a person players like playing for. Demanding but also able to speak highly of players when they do well.

I would say we would want a manager chosen by the beginning of the year.
The Gold Cup is coming up this ( summer 18 is over ya'all ) summer and I would hope we'd have the coaches system/players in place by then.

I like the Crew's Gregg Berhalter. Plays with a style that could win some games for the US...possession-based attack-oriented team that likes to push the game forward. Fun to watch. Took the Crew to a top level without top talent.

Pusilic with a calf injury that conveniently has a recovery timeline long enough to put him out of the two upcoming friendlies.

Sure Christian, sure.

USA looses 4-2 to Colombia and ties 1-1 with Peru.
They play England and Italy in November.

I watched the last 20 minutes and Peru was taking it to us.
I blame PhD for not cheering loud enough.

peru controlled possession the entire match, but never really seemed to do anything with it

the one goal was the result of a simple lapse in defense

US really needs to take care of the ball better...way too many unforced errant passes
