I'd pick LeBron over Magic.

But I'd pick MJ over LeBron...and maybe even Kobe over Lebron if it's just 1 season in their primes.

LeBron did more things at a higher level than Magic did, but Magic was better at his elite skills than LeBron is.

Both are top 5 all time. I'd have Kobe below both. I'd have Kareem over all of them.
