Well, kinda.
Dok has a .648 so if you take him out of the equation ( which I'm not sure you can do at this point b/c it's possible one of Devon/Vick even Ochai pick up the pace to narrow the gap ) then yes.
Otherwise, 2005 Simien gap is greater ( Aaron Miles ).

I love that Dotson had 8 assists. If that guy can create opportunities for others it will mask that we don't have a ton of great scorers.
Also, zero turnovers, which is huge.

Agbaji and KJ had a combined 9 fouls in 25 minutes.
We had 4 guys play 37+ minutes. Remember when depth was our strength?

There were also about 3-4 "assists" that weren't recorded when he attacked the rim and Dedric got the putback. That's as good as an assist knowing how much our offense labors. He intentionally pulls Dedric's guy off of him and he either converts a tough layup or gets the easy putback. That's the best offense we have on many possessions and not very many guys in the country can do that.

that drop-off after Dedric is stark, and imo doesn’t bode well

Definitely doesn't.
As pointed out, if you don't include Dok ( which now we can't ), it's the largest drop off under Self.

Yeah, but I mean, if you were a top 10 recruit, McD AA, team USA, etc. and this guy outside the top 100 who was barely recruited and just started playing in games a couple weeks ago immediately looks miles better than you. How do you process that.
Hopefully he's like holy shit, I shouldn't be this shitty and goes...Oh, if he can do it, I guess I can do it.
Or - he just gets even more in his head.

I'll just take Agbaji averaging 24 points and 7 rebounds from here on out.
Problem solved.

Agbaji scored 3 fewer points than the rest of our entire starting lineup.
