Part of that is L'Ville completely melting down. Part of that is Coach K and the unreal talent that is Reddish and Zion. Duke's / Nike's bag was BIGGER.

So many bitty-ball style turnovers in the last 5 minutes.

Chris Mack should give back part of his paycheck/s after last night. I know, I know, he didn't miss shots and turn the ball over.
Another case of either giving a coach too much credit or too much blame. Well, they do have a bearing on a game so if anyone specifically should be a scapegoat then I will call out Mack.

Where is Danny Manning going to be coaching next season?
Last place in the ACC this season after finishing in 14th in the ACC last season gets you a new job.
I feel bad for him. As we all know, it was pretty much a no win situation.
Actually, I can see Wake keeping him being that they owe him through 2024/2025 and their boosters will be none too happy to see that cash being pissed away if they canned him.
Can I get 100-1 odds it's going to be either Lawrence High home of the Chesty Lions or Walter Hines Page Senior High?
I'll put the odds at....
8-1 he's on an NBA bench as an assistant.
5-1 he's on the KU bench as an assistant.
7-2 he's a head coach at a small NCAA school.

Loyola of Chicago lost at home last night.
Just realized something.
Even though they are currently tied (3 way) for 1st in the MVC and have 16 wins, I don't expect them to make the 2019 tournament if they don't win the MVC tournament.
That made me think about what Final Four teams didn't make the tournament the next season.
Off the top of my head and I may be mistaken, I believe in the 2017 tournament both South Carolina and Oregon both played in the Final Four and then did not make the tournament in 2018.
In the 2016 tournament Oklahoma and Syracuse both made the Final Four and then did make the 2017 tournament.
Point of my sharing this is......
I am left wondering which school may make the Final Four this season and not play in the tournament next season. I am always a fan of an underdog so I am hoping there will be one or two in this year's Final Four and right now I am at a loss of who I might consider a legit dark horse.
Maybe Furman, Lipscomb, Wofford, Toledo?
Stay tuned.

Yes, "tickets approaching Super Bowl prices" but....
When it comes to tickets on the secondary market obviously it's all about supply and demand and greed and over hype and stupidity. As I have been known to say too often, "Those who can - do".
If I had a shit load of money and nothing better to do (forgetting weather issues) - I would go to the game tonight. Why wouldn't I?
Big difference though between the Super Bowl and UNC/Duke hoops at Cameron.
70,000 seats for the Super Bowl. Under 10,000 in Cameron.
Two teams who are in no way rivals nor are they 10-15 miles away from each other playing in the Super Bowl.
I will say that the UNC/Duke Basketball rivalry is a top 5 rivalry in all of American sports and probably #1 in American college athletics.
> than Ohio State / Michigan in Football? I say yes.
No doubt fueled by the "media" but it's legit.
Will be interesting to see the TV ratings - considering there are no better basketball alternatives tonight. No NBA games tonight.

P.S. Wouldn't it be great if both teams lost?

Wasn't that the year they lost in the NIT first round to Robert Morris?
