What is the deal with Elijah Elliott? Is he on the team or did he end up somewhere else?

For the Vermont game he was in street clothes. My guess is a redshirt.

I didn't think he was a walk on? Oops. We've had a couple walk on players redshirt iirc....didn't Teahan start out as a walk on?

Edit: invited walk on makes me think he will eventually be on scholarship. Likely would have gotten Vicks for this year had he not been allowed by Self to return.

Why not? Get him for 5 years instead of 4. They are mainly practice fodder. Always nice to have experienced ones that know what the coaches are looking for.

They announced his redshirt on Nov 2nd. I remember seeing it float by on my twitter feed.

Would he stick around for a 5th season if he has been a walk on the previous 4 seasons?
