Trump is not guilty of any lie, falsehood, fabrication, false claim, or toxic exaggeration that equals the lies of one past president whose Alamo-sized ego caused the deaths of thousands of Americans and another chief executive who denied his serial adultery. Most Americans can see the difference between an out-and-out lie and self-evident hyperbole, even if the mainstream press and Trump’s political opponents cannot or will not.
Here are some facts for you buddy boy:
https://www.heritage.org/conservatism/c ... ook-honest
There just isn't enough time passed to see the impacts of Trump's lies yet. The impact of his absurd tax cut will be felt for decades if we don't get them rolled back soon and the impact of some of his rollbacks of EPA regulations could lead to the deaths of thousands of people unnecessarily.

And half the "facts" provided in that article were pure opinion.
How about this; facts, or opinion?

The most consequential presidential liar was Lyndon B. Johnson, who repeatedly promised during the 1964 presidential campaign, “We are not about to send American boys 9 or 10 thousand miles away from home to do what Asian boys ought to be doing for themselves.” At the very same time and with Johnson’s approval, the Pentagon was drawing up plans to send the first wave of more than 100,000 American servicemen to Vietnam. Johnson’s macho determination not to “lose” Vietnam led him to keep increasing the number of American troops until they reached over 500,000. His strategy produced ever mounting U.S. fatalities, reaching a total of 58,000 by the time fighting ended in 1973.

And this;

As we now know, President John F. Kennedy covered up his precarious health (he had Addison’s disease, a serious hormonal condition), denied his many extra-marital affairs with gangster molls and Hollywood stars, and lied about a non-existent “missile gap” in the 1960 presidential race. Once elected, he allowed the Pentagon to announce that no missile gap existed.

And this;

The monumental presidential lie of the last half century is President Nixon’s denial of White House involvement in the Watergate burglary. Nixon lied until he was forced to release tapes that proved his part in the cover-up, which forced him to resign.

Want more?
I do not give one shiny turd how Trump compares to any of these because it has zero bearing on today. It is a pointless conversation meant only to try to label anyone calling Trump "the worst" as liars themselves.

What do want, for people to call Trump only the 4th biggest liar in presidential history? THAT'S a fucking win for you?!? Congrats, I guess.

but there may very well be a decent number of your fellow citizens for which it would matter...those who believe most of what comes out his mouth, facts be damned
The "fact" is he won.
I think you mean "God appointed him."

I've been thinking about this:

what if, instead of paying them to shut up at the time, Trump had just owned it?

Mind, this was right around the same the the grab her by the pussy tapes leaked, (not to mention the long list of sexual harassment allegations, up to and including by ex-wives), so the "Family Values" crowd had more than enough dirt on Trump to make a character assessment.

yet, none of that mattered. Would a couple more stories from a couple more nasty women have really made a difference?

So why hush money? Why didn't he just send out a couple tweets about how it's fake news, call the women names, Crooked Clintons did much worse, blah blah blah, and be done with it?

And they took deductions for donating used underwear.

That was fun.
on one hand I think it's silly that "but the CLiNtOnS!!!!" has become such an overused conservative reprise - by count, psych, dolomite, and even DC - as if mentioning "Bill said worse on the golf course" automatically condones anything Trump might do.

but on the other hand, at least DC's zingers are much, much more highlarious.

The dirty undies, dude! The whites! The ringer cannot look empty!

You mean those tapes and dossier that Clinton and the DNC paid twelve million dollars for? I don't know whatever happened to them. You'd think they would have been leaked (no pun intended) out by now.
