Before I comment, could you be a doll and post pictures of your carpet, and window treatments?

So I guess you don't like the sofa...lol. It's got awesome reviews. My house was built in 1928, so thought it would be cool. I have no carpet, all hardwood and my window treatments are all white plantation style shutter blinds.

Not sure where you got the idea I didn't like it.

Feng Shui For Dummies Cheat Sheet

A colored object placed within the Life Area (of your space) associated with that color can help energize that space. By placing the Feng Shui Octagon, a tool for mapping the energies of a home or lot, over your lot plan or a floor plan of your home (starting with the first floor and then moving to any additional floors), you can figure out which parts of your home fall in which Life Areas and cure them with an appropriately colored object.

From painting the walls yellow in the Health Area of your home (for better health and physical well-being) to positioning a healthy green plant in the Family Area of your home or lot (to encourage unity and a stronger family bond), Feng Shui encourages the use of color to enhance your life energy. The following table shows you how to apply color to magnify the energy of each Life Area...

Is there a Christmas thread? Or all purpose holiday thread?

Cuz today I’ve counted literally hundreds of cars driving around with trees strapped to their roofs.

I was being serious. Your description of the cars with trees on their tops seems nice.

A pleasant throwback to days of yore and all.

Ous, thanksgiving was so late that families are immediately on the tree thing. My family has always made a game of hollering out TREE when we see one atop a car. I did that last week and scared kiddo (who is learning to drive).

I was with extended family for Thanksgiving and we played Quip Lash. That is a jackbox.tv game I have loaded on my firetv stick. It plays 8, but 4K can be part of the voting audience. We played for hours. Ages 8 to 87 played. We kept it to PG. I thought the Trump jokes might ruffle some feathers, but we survived. If you are not familiar, this is a game where you use your devices (cell phones/tablets) to play a game show type game on your tv. Rude versions were popular with college kids a few years back. It was a really great way to get lots of people involved in one activity.

Guess who got off for the first thanksgiving in years!

Though I’m mostly just excited for the KU game. Gonna day drink!

I think I’ve mentioned how beav is a picky ass eater. He asks, do you wanna do something for thanksgiving dinner? I was thinking of making mac and cheese.

Oh cool, that’s not the most common holiday side dish, but I’m down. Wanna make a holiday dinner? With like a turkey and stuff?

No, I don’t like turkey.

What, seriously?

No, it can be dry.

That’s why you smother it in gravy.

I don’t like gravy either.

wtf? What about mashed taters?

Not really.

Stuffing?

Doesn’t do anything for me.

Green bean casserole?

Hard no.

Well what do YOU want for thanksgiving dinner?

Mac and cheese.

...meh whatever. Who cares what I eat? It’s game day for a big game, an early game, so imma be gushered by like 10am. Woo!

best part about thanksgiving is left-overs

gonna do my standard apple smoked turkey, injected with apple juice/cider vinegar mix and with apple slices slid in between the meat and the skin during smoking

the wife is responsible for everything else lol

Yum!

Yeah, a big appeal to a holiday dinner is getting several more meals from it after the fact.

I wanted to smoke a turkey or big chicken, but we’re still technically under a fire ban here, and I don’t wanna be that guy...
