Dangit bro don’t ruin this for me!

While I don’t doubt you, I also want a whole bird to carve for thanksgiving. It’ll be fun, and it was only 99 cents a pound, so even if it’s completely inedible, just getting to carve will be worth the 6 bucks.

Besides, what could possibly be inedible after being covered in bacon and or butter? I think it’s gonna be delicious. Plus, between the holiday and game day and game day holiday and first game of the season and number 1 matchup, imma put down like 3 buckets of coorses before I eat either way.

And either way I still have beav’s mac and cheese as a backup.
Go for it. Hope it comes out great.

No bird of any kind for this guy.
Just my mother and I this Thanksgiving. First one in 54 years for me that I am not with multiple family members.
I laugh at my mother. She said she wants this to be "easy" for her so instead of making a turkey she decided to make prime rib. That's easier? Maybe. What do I know?
Then yesterday she told me she's making and baking homemade chocolate chip cookies.
She's also making a bunch of other things that I like that are not traditional Thanksgiving food.
I'm thrilled!

10 of maybe 100 Things Grandma/Gutter has been known to say on Thanksgiving that will not be said this year.....

1) I give thanks that I have to have dinner with all you fucks just once a year.
2) Stuff this!
3) Wishbone? I wish I boned Karen Whatsherface Freshman year at KU.
4) I got a Plymouth rock for ya right here.
5) Why can't we be like the goyem and eat dinner before dinner time?
6) Is that cranberry sauce on your crotch or is it that time of the month?
7) Turkey sucks. Both the bird and the country.
8) Yam? Who the fuck decided that's what it should be called? Take this crap and yam it up your ass.
9) The Bears all time record on Thanksgiving is 17-15-2. That and $2.25 gets you a ride on a bus.
10) Who was the first asshole who said, "Gee - instead of baking some good pie I think I will mutilate a pumpkin and use that to make a pie".

I picked up my cooked and sliced Turkey 🦃 at Fareway/Mcginigles yesterday. Ordered 4lbs, but they messed up and gave me 8lbs. I have no idea how 3 people can eat 8lbs. Might have leftovers for a week.

Where I work we have lunches on Tuesdays for our Managing Directors and "Senior Management".
It's basically just a bullshit session and there is no set agenda.
EVERY year the Tuesday before Thanksgiving our "catering" person decides/decided to have a Thanksgiving themed lunch. Turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, etc.
Not sure why but apparently none of the Managing Directors nor "Senior Management" has ever said, gee - we all have money and families so it would be nice of we did NOT have a Thanksgiving meal two days before Thanksgiving and how about maybe we do it (Thanksgiving themed meal) in maybe March, or April or May?
I have actually had the balls to say something and the response was - "Everybody loves it".
Ummmm..... I beg to differ.

5 quick and painless Turkey Day Questions.

1) Seems to me most gentiles eat their meal mid day and not at dinner time. True or false?
2) What is your favorite thing to eat on Thanksgiving?
3) Approx how many people will be at your meal?
4) Have you ever been to Plymouth Rock?
5) If you were forced to keep a live turkey as a pet, what would you name it?
