We've been talking about coaching pairs a lot since Miles took the job. As far as that's concerned, Herman/Smart are up there for most hate-able.

This is all about Beaty’s next job. Should have put Bowen in charge.

I’m predicting that Charlot has a breakout year under Les.

Last Power 5 game he'll ever coach and doesn't get aggressive until down by 10 in the 4th.

Would give anything to see an upset. The calls throughout this game and non calls at other times is par for the course vs Texas.

The team fought hard. Bender’s miscues cost them. This was a team in need of a little more depth and a Reesing

We were competitive this year, wish we could have won a couple more. We are closer than people think. This team with a good recruiting class could be bowling next year, should be in 2 years. Beaty really did teach this team to fight. He was in over his head, but the tide has started to turn and Beaty leaves KU a real class act. Can't wait for Miles!

2 plays away from 5-7. Nicholls State and kstate. Then you hope for a better result against Iowa State, Baylor and Tech.

KU lost to OU, WV and UT by a combined 38 points. That's very good progress. Now just need that next step.

Beaty’s Third year is what did him in. If he could have strung consecutive years like this he might have got this team turned around.
Have to hand it to him and his staff for keeping these guys engaged all year. Les inherits a better chance then Beaty did after Weis left.

Personnel Les needs to find or develop a QB and reload on defense.

Don't be surprised to see this guy give Miles and KU a fair look. Big, athletic guy. 6ft 2, 237 lbs. Originally committed to Miles at LSU, before signing with them and then transferring and playing JUCO ball this year. Will be a December graduate and on a campus by Spring Ball.

Offered by LSU, Bama, Clemson, Georgia, Auburn, and Arizona State among others out of high school.

I don't want Narcisse at all. Other than 1 game this year, he hasn't played any meaningful minutes since 2014. His last 2 years of HS ball he was hurt, last year he redshirted and he has been on the bench this year every game except for 1-2.

Before he transferred this past fall, he was 4th string on LSU's depth chart. Make KU jokes, I get it, but that's not good enough to start here. We just don't have enough players to be taking the risk. All 15 available scholarships must go to guys that can legitimately play on Saturdays.
