Also got a QB from North Carolina. Big guy. Had offers from Navy and Army so the dude can run.

Pesek-Hinson: great get prospect wise. His dad seems a little nutty, though.

Medley is interesting.

Do we know where the linebacker from Oklahoma is going yet?

If they are staying in Kansas, they should not be going to ksu.
According to the 247 site KU and kstate both are struggling with in-state kids. Kansas at a huge disadvantage with open scholarships, but still need to do better with the top kids in state.

1. Mertz - Wisc
2. Hall - Iowa St
3. Hicks - OU
4. Jordan - TCU
5. Garber - kstate
6. Pesek-Hickson - KU
7. Dean - Iowa St
8. Russell - KU
9. Cundiff - Wisc (Former KU commit)
10. Michalski - oSu

KU has 3 of the top 15 Kansas kids.
kstate has 4 of the top 15 Kansas kids.

Yup.
But Free State, in Lawrence?
If those kids are in state, they should be going to Kansas.

No offer to Dineen. Which, might end up being a mistake pipeline-wise, but he wasn't going to play here.

Regardless, the Free State and KS HS pipelines being infiltrated was the result of Weis pissing people off.

Potter the OLB? Not sure yet. But he is currently with kstate, but that is not expected to stick after today. It seems to be between KU and Texas Tech.

Yeah same thing with KU around 2003 or so. Got Brandon McAnderson and Adrian Mayes from Manhattan High. Both played big roles on the 07 team.

Need to get those local kids. I do think keeping Bowen in a capacity will help with Lawrence kids.

Just some tough decisions have to be made to cut guys out when you can only offer 15.

I didn't realize that Pesek-Hinson only played football for first time last year.

Very true. Will be interesting to see what Les and Co can do with a full class.

This. Because of the hand that was dealt to him Les had to make some tough decisions. Sucks that it had to be to a legacy family like the Dineen's but I hope that is a sign that Les is going to do the right things for the long term future of this program not necessarily the easy things.

You guys. Les is killing it. Just got a 3-star QB from Dallas area. Over Texas Tech. KU is owning Tech in head-to-head recruiting battles this year.

And I know this may sound dumb..

But if you're able, try to buy season tickets at the 3-year loyalty pricing they have. You can sit in the bowl for under $20/ticket a game and get to see 7 home games this year. Or sit midfield for $50/ticket a game. Not bad prices.

I'd be there if I didn't have my kids' games in the morning on top of being 2 hours away. I know some of you are in KC/Lawrence area, so it could be easy for you to attend. Putting butts in the seats will help this program. I will attend at least one game this year as schedule allows.

I think this is exciting times ahead for Kansas football. Long and company are doing their best to make this look and feel like a P5 program. Les and staff have busted their asses in the recruiting period and I think the program's arrow is pointed up.

These look like good gets - he has one more scholly to give out give/take?
Les is going to have to recruit even harder in 2020/21 to fill up the roster.
Thanks Beaty ( and Weis, and Gil ).

Garber and Doneen were scholarship victims. Not enough to go around.

An AL Linebacker (Robinson) just committed. Harris DL from 'Bama are starting the "Alabaminals"

Confusion, drama around KU football signing day...

Mike Brown at the Tulsa World (@MikeBrownTW) tweeted that Potter showed up to signing day wearing a KSU hoodie...so he's either trolling KSU really hard or still going to KSU.

Gavin Potter signed, per Les Miles. Holy shit, boys. Who cares about basketball, lol. This 2 hrs of signing day has been more exciting than the last five KU basketball games (save for the TTU beat down).
