Trump blasts deal to dissolve his charitable foundation

President Donald Trump on Wednesday blasted the deal to dissolve his namesake charitable foundation after New York's top prosecutor said it exhibited a "shocking pattern of illegality."

The suit accuses the Trump Foundation of a "shocking pattern of illegality" that includes "unlawful coordination with the Trump presidential campaign, repeated and willful self-dealing, and much more," according to a statement from Underwood.

"This amounted to the Trump Foundation functioning as little more than a checkbook to serve Mr. Trump’s business and political interests," Underwood said on Tuesday.

Ann Coulter says she won't vote for Trump without border wall

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter said Wednesday that she won’t vote to reelect President Trump if no progress has been made on the U.S.-Mexico border wall by 2020.

In a podcast interview with The Daily Caller, Coulter blasted the Trump presidency, saying it will have been a “joke” without the wall.

“Why would you [vote for him again]?” she said. “To make sure, I don’t know, Ivanka [Trump] and Jared [Kushner] can make money? That seems to be the main point of the presidency at this point.”

“They’re about to have a country where no Republican will ever be elected president again,” she added. “Trump will just have been a joke presidency who scammed the American people, amused the populists for a while, but he’ll have no legacy whatsoever."

Senate Republicans uncharacteristically lashed out at President Trump on Wednesday for announcing a sudden and immediate withdrawal of U.S. troops from Syria, a decision that came without consulting Congress and seemed to catch the Pentagon off guard.

Several lawmakers said Congress received no advance notice of Trump’s announcement, leaving them fuming and scratching their heads.

“I don’t know what they’ve done, but this is chaos,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), a staunch Trump ally and Armed Services Committee member, told reporters, adding that he planned to discuss the matter with Defense Secretary James Mattis...

What kind of "day" in America would it be without yet another discussion/legal defense involving our president, a playboy bunny, and him rawdogging a porn actress?

First it was I didn't have sex with those women. Then it was I knew nothing about the payments. Then it was the payments had nothing to do with the campaign. And now:

President Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani floated a new line of defense Wednesday regarding payments to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal in the final stretches of the 2016 presidential campaign.

In an unsolicited text to The Hill on Wednesday afternoon, Giuliani argued that those payments would not violate campaign finance laws “even if a purpose was to aid the campaign.”

Also this:

The US Department of Treasury announced today (Dec. 19) that it is planning to lift sanctions imposed on three Russian companies controlled by a Russian oligarch who’s come up in the special counsel investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

In a letter to Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell, the Treasury said it will end sanctions to En+Group, U Rusal, and EuroSibEnergy in 30 days.

The companies are controlled by Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, who has deep connections to Paul Manafort, Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman. Deripaska invested $18.9 million into a Ukrainian telecom venture ran by Manafort, but was never paid back. Special counsel Robert Mueller has reportedly investigated the links between the two men as part of his probe into Russia’s electoral interference.

Deripaska, who is close to Vladimir Putin, was “accused of threatening the lives of business rivals, illegally wiretapping a government official, and taking part in extortion and racketeering” when the Treasury hit him with sanctions in April.

The answer to the question that the White House is being run by the Russian mafia isn't so easy to determine.

I mean, when you put it that way - a president who starts a space force and bangs playboy bunnies - he actually sounds pretty rad.

Once again Lindsay Graham will foam at the mouth and roll over and do Trump’s bidding at the next instance. Party over Country. The Treasury just lifted sanctions on an oligarch. Unless the Senate votes to restore the sanctions and removes Trump’s ability to unilaterally lift them they reinforce that they are traitors. Yes, I used that word. There is no other description for standing by an Administration which is acting on behalf of the Russian dictator

Where's Mexico when we need them?

Speaker Paul Ryan says President Donald Trump 'will not sign' a bill to keep the government open.

The president is said to be citing a dispute with the Senate-passed bill that doesn't fully fund a border wall.

We should save the coal industry so another generation of workers in those parts of the country can develop a horrible disease and live off of government benefits before dying an agonizing death. MAGA!
