We have a pleasant Santa/Elf-on-the-Shelf interlude this year. The older minnows figured it out last year (most likely have been humoring us for a couple years at this point), and the guppy is not aware of such things.

To hide theirs, my son-in-law froze the elf in a bucket of water a couple of years ago. It was fully immersed.
