In order for me.....everything, egg, onion, garlic, plain.
Then poppy > sesame but a lightly toasted sesame is not bad at all.
Asiago is very tasty if in the right mood.
Cinnamon raisin is pretty much a fake bagel but still edible.

P.S. Half bagels = half donuts. BAD

even if your halving a bagel for toasting and cream cheese purposes?

And I’m sesame all day. If sesame is sold out then poppy. If I’m feeling fruity then a blueberry with plain cream cheese is preferred over plain bagel with fruity cheese.

I never understood the purpose of cutting a bagel in half other than for toasting purposes and/or putting cream cheese (or butter, or peanut butter, or whatever else on it) - and yet many people still do it.
Problem with a half a bagel is that it becomes dry. Maybe alright if you are going to toast it in the near future but a dry non-fresh half bagel is JUNK!

Sesame bagels work just fine. I'm only a plain cream cheese or a chive/onion cream cheese kind of guy. Plain cream cheese on an onion, everything, or garlic bagel and chive/onion cream cheese on a plain, egg, poppy, or sesame bagel.

I don't eat bagels very often. Plain or everything. Maybe onion.
Sweet bagels are an abomination.

When I consider that a plain bagel has ~ the same # of calories as six slices of bread, (before you add the cheese, etc.), and the fact that I'm usually/mostly eating the bagel as a vehicle for everything else I add, I rarely eat bagels, either.

But when I do... I like everything, onion, and cream cheese with onion/chives.

I can agree that many/most do.
You have a good one in the right frame of mind, all is well in the world.

A good toasted bagel with veggie cream cheese can be pretty damn good.
I'd rather toast but a bagel is better than a muffin or a donut.

Someone brought in donuts today. Opened up the boxes. Counted 4 half donuts in there.

My coworkers are the worst.

sooo egg sammiches.

Crashed at a homie’s house last night, and he wakes up and makes breakfast. “Don’t eat that one bro, I overcooked it, take this one instead.” And I get a runny liquid mess.

I like my eggs over medium on their own, but on a sammich that yolk should be cooked. Any less defeats the purpose of a sammich. It should be self-contained, not dripping down your hands.
