I have an anti-sweet tooth and don't even eat half doughnuts. But this place was featured on foodtv last night.

For all you doughnut lovers.

Best breakfast foods ranked:

2. Biscuits and Gravy
3. Hashbrowns
4. Corned Beef Hash
5. Toast

Honorable mentions: Bacon, Huevos Rancheros, Omelete

Bacon's gotta be top 2, along with eggs. I'd go

1. Tie Bacon and eggs - and toast goes with eggs, so it doesn't get its own slot
2. Biscuits and Gravey (with sausage)
3. Hashbrowns

Steak and eggs would be #1 but I usually eat that more for late night than breakfast

Also, pancakes are nowhere near top 5 as they're behind both french toast and waffles.

B&Gs are at the top of my list.

Toast is a separate item.
You go to breakfast and order food and it's listed separately.
I almost had bacon top 5 but if I'm not doing Biscuits & Gravy or waffles ( prefer waffles to french toast and pancakes ) I gotta have toast.

I mean, you can get it a la carte. But at a lot of places it's included.

Regardless, I never order just toast...and if I get eggs, I almost always order toast, so to me they're not separate items.

If toast IS a separate item, it'd also be way down the list.

Oh. And Jelly fucking sucks.

I don't like jelly but do enjoy jam.

Just put some butter on it and dunk it in that runny yolk.

Get fruit the fuck off my bread...unless it's apple butter, that shits pretty good, but I'd still prefer it with eggs.

peanut butter is better than any of those jams.

Also, If you're going to fill a donut go with cream over fruit.

If you're going to fill a donut then just throw it away.

I think I could live off of soft boiled eggs and dry toast.

Pancakes are a pathetic waste of time and energy even when you have free maple syrup. Crepes, on the other hand, are a wonderful platform for various fillings and toppings.

Pancakes and waffles are only an excuse to eat butter and syrup.

Toast is so good.

Who was the genius who took a bite of bread and was like, cook it again!

I never ate breakfast much until I started guiding. Now it’s a breakfast sandwich with 2 eggs cheese and maybe some turkey or ham pretty much every day.

I usually get anxiety going out for breakfast and brunch.

but if I do, it’s usually “The Eisenhower” - pancakes, eggs (over medium), bacon or sausage, and breakfast taters...mmm. Otherwise it’s chicken fried steak

and don’t even get me started about cereal!
