So? You can be a birther, hell, even lead the movement, and still become President.

Hey Feral- you’re operating under the misapprehension that Republicans are capable of shame and good judgment

Reagan trusted people because he believed they were trustworthy people and could do the job they were tasked to do.

Trump trusts people who are willing to lie to protect Trump and will do in their job what Trump wants them to do whether it is the right thing to do or not.

The "progress" of the Republican Party in the last 40 years.

But we did learn something disturbing at Wednesday's hearing -- how shameless the new Democratic House majority will be in their efforts to undermine the Trump presidency. Democrats scheduled the Cohen hearing on the very same day the president was in Vietnam trying to broker a deal on the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula. We all had a stake in the president's success. They could have waited one day to avoid creating a distraction during a critical diplomatic moment. But they didn't, because for Democrats it seems that embarrassing Trump is more important than disarming a tyrant.

Talk about sleazy.

" His testimony was certainly embarrassing for the president, but Cohen offered no evidence to advance the cause of impeachment."

It might be helpful is Trump's idea of diplomacy isn't to stomp into every high level talks like he is the CEO of a real estate development company, expecting to always get things his way.

He is surrounded by experts, publicly announces that they are:
1) wrong
2) dumb
3) moles for Hillary
4) secret liberals

He is always the expert, no matter the subject.

And a big part of why, at the end of every one of these talks, he ends up looking like a spoiled kid who didn't get his way.

Amember in 2012 when the GOP tasked itself with “soul searching” and trying to be “more inclusive?”

Yeah, I've never been in prison, so all I have to go on are TV shows. But don't tell me that some prisoners are not in danger. Course if he goes to one of those country club places then he'll probably slide through OK.

At the Federal level, around 40% are there as a result of a reduced sentence.
You can (maybe) figure out why.

We are probably as politically divided as we've ever been. Started with Clinton impeachment and has snowballed ever since. Both sides pointing fingers at each other doing the same shit as the other.

Bunch of fucking clowns.
