I wouldn’t know good Mexican. How is that place on Sante Fe near I-35. There is a Mexican grocery with a good bakery right next door. I’m talking Olathe.

You're right in thinking San Antonio's.

Isn't your buddy the guy at Jarocho? That's a gem.

I've never been to Jarocho. My wife will not eat seafood.

I've talked with the owner a couple times on facebook but have never met him. He is good friends with "my buddy" though.

Bonito Michoacan that I mentioned. Really, really good.

A few people on dotnet recommended El Patron a couple years back. It was also ranked best Mexican by the Pitch vote.
I went.
It was on par with Lawrence's Cielito Lindo, which is fine, but San Antonio's is far better ( and more chill ).

There was a brooo-haha with El Patron a couple of years ago. I can't remember what it was, but someone probably went to jail. I ate there once. It was fine.

I've always liked Manny's on SW blvd. Can't say it's the best, but I also don't eat Mexican food often. Is Margaritas still open?

El Patron is good margaritas and can be a good pregame party atmosphere but the food leaves a lot to be desired.

The best Mexican can be found by just driving around KCK. Supposedly there is a shack looking building on Kansas, I believe, that only has an electric "OPEN" sign and nothing else--and it's the best in that area.

So now I'm craving Mexican..lol. Can't find any good restaurants that deliver to Waldo using GrubHub and don't feel like driving. Any other apps to check out?

Art's Mexican Products used to sell tons of it on Saturday morning. Not sure if they still do.

Shindig, ubereats may deliver. I've never used them though.

There’s a strip mall Mexican joint not far from my house that you wouldn’t even guess is Mexican from its name. It is outrageously great (and strip-mall-y), and no I’m not spoiling it by telling anyone about it.

I'm headed out to this little divey joint close to my house. Not as good as mediocre Mexican in KC, but it's not bad.
