DMac will definitely play. Mitch a bit too. Guards off the bench? Umm... No depth there.

I'm not convinced that's a top 10 team. No guard depth, no shooting. Who knows, maybe Braun or McBride will be ready?
that starting lineup reminds me a little of an old one:

tyshawn
EJ
travis
t rob
withey

different players... for sure. but lots of size and athleticism. and potentially the same tough chippy defensive make up

If we land either Moss or Wilson, I'd bump Garrett out of that starting lineup. Garrett is just too poor an offensive player to be in there with the starters.

He can drive, which Ochai didn't show the ability to do. I think Moss would bump Ochai out of the starting lineup, unless his shot improves considerably.

We need the shooter in there to give us some space. Then you've got two really good perimeter defenders, a paint defender, and a rebounder. I like that starting lineup. Och as 6th man, and will get as many minutes as Garrett and Moss.

Im finding it difficult to see Ochai benched. You see a major player there. Maybe im just too big a fan of his but i think he could end up being our 3rd best player next year.

Maybe it was the splints, but he really didn't show much after those two 20-point games IIRC. I think we fell in love with the story and his great attitude, and I think that's resulted in him being a touch overrated at this point. I think he'd be perfect in a sixth man roll this year.

Any remaining recruits anyway.

A senior graduate transfer whose best attribute, which is possibly the most important skill in today's game, and is our biggest weakness. He's proven he can shoot at a high major level.

I am not particularly high on Moss in general - but he's exactly what this team needs. I think he'd start. And if I had to guess a coach told him he would and that prompted the decommitment.

He's ( Moss ) got a lot of games started under his belt.
I just think Ochai's potential is all very evident - and while Moss did shoot better from 3 ( a good deal better ) he also shot worse from 2 ( a good deal worse ) to the point where Ochai's eFG% is higher than Moss's. And that's with Moss being a junior, having played three seasons, to Ochai's one half season.

Och is so key. You call his number from the very beginning.

I'd be really surprised if Agbaji isn't a starter.

1. Dot
2. Moss
3. Ochai
4. SDS
5. Dok

Garrett spot starter. But 6th man. Big Mac going to play a ton. As will Mitch. Other guard spot can go to Wilson. McBride or Braun will play here and there too.

The last starting spot goes to one of Wilson, Agbaji or Garrett and based off of Agbaji's work ethic, I think that he will win the battle for that last spot and be starting from Day One. The kid is an obsessively hard worker by all accounts.

That's cool, but Moss can shoot. I hope it's Moss.

Moss can shoot from 3.
Apparently he can't anywhere else.

Maybe? In any case, a specialist 3-point shooter is the better fit for the rest of this roster (Dotson in particular) than a specialist defender.

Don't know why I'm defending Garrett ( put me on a horse ) because his shot is a thing of nightmares but I liked how he could attack the basket and seemed at games to be unstoppable at that.

Moss's 2nd half of conference play and post season, he shot 32% from the field.

I suppose though you don't need as many guys who can attack the rim if you've got DeSousa and Dok to lob it to.
