Congrats to Dok and us.

Kind of sucks for DMac though.

Nah. If we've learned anything about Doke, it's that he needs a caddy.

Sure....but DMac was a McD AA. He didn't come to KU to be a caddy for half of his career.

I like how KU released this at the exact same time as the Stanley announcement.

Literally the exact time Stanley said he was going to announce.

Can’t wait for Dok dunking on everybody.

Dok and McCormack are the best center duo in the country. Easily. Gonna give people fits. Lightfoot or Garrett could be a good compliment at the 4. If we get De sousa.. god damn. Potentially unstoppable inside

The KU teams have been a beast when Dok is in down low. Doesn’t matter how well the other guys shoot, he’ll get his and open up the outside for shots when teams double down low.

This team needs shooters. Badly. I can see teams clogging the inside and daring KU to shoot the ball. When you combine that with two guys in Dot and Garrett who make a living on slashing that is going to be a very congested paint.

If ( and I think he does ) Dotson comes back I think he will be pretty solid from deep his sophomore season.
There was something there with Ochai - just fell apart - but you can see how he could be a good shooter.
Don't know about Garrett - his form is the gross.

Also, odds he stays healthy a full season = 50/50

Or that could be the over / under from what he shoots at the FT when the 'hack a Dok' strategy returns.

5 major or semi major injuries in 3 years. He's due for a healthy season.

It's odd that he will be starting his senior year and we've only been able to watch him play in what,16-20 games in his career?
